Hello! My name is Taylor Pruitt and I currently serve as the business teacher, FBLA sponsor and Junior Bank Board sponsor at Greenland High School. I am currently in my second year of teaching and I am so excited to be educating the future generation of business leaders! FBLA, or Future Business Leaders of America, is a student organization that all students would benefit from joining. Between being a member of FBLA and taking business classes, students will be exposed to and acquire business knowledge on topics such as professionalism, résumés, interview skills, professional attire, and so much more!!! Junior Bank Board is a new student organization this year in which students meet monthly with Arvest employees to learn about finance and banking. Arvest has generously donated their time to expose students to the world of banking and also sponsors a trip to one of the U.S. Federal Reserves for our students to put the information they have learned into a realistic application. My passion as an educator lies within preparing students for the world they will walk into once they leave high school. I aim to provide knowledge, mentorship and experiences which will prepare students with the skills and confidence that they will need for a seamless transition from high school to college and/or the workforce. #Gr8Day2BaPirate #CTEmonth
